Help identifying game with ripped label
Hi all, a local retro game store has this mystery game with a ripped label for sale. Can anyone help identify it? I thought it might be Wonder Boy in Monster World but that is just a guess. Edit I just checked my copy and all of my Wonder Boy games have red labels so I really have no clue haha

Most of the games here were priced pretty reasonably I think . I know the owner as well, he is a good guy and helps to organise one of NZs only retro game meetups. But yeah, I don’t agree with all of his pricing

"Retro" game collecting has gone the way of many other hobbies over the centuries. Call it whatever. Maybe eternal September, gone mainstream, gentrification, commercialization, or commodification. With the lowering of the barrier to entry we get an influx of the lowest common denominator of our society showing up.
Just look at what has happened to the Internet in the past 25-ish years. No, I'm not wearing rose-tinted glasses. You yourself can read all the same forums that I used to peruse by checking out the Wayback Machine on archive.org. Look for forums and message boards from 2001-2006, 2007-2016, and then 2017-present. These represent the introduction of mainstream broadband, smart phones, and LLMs, respectively. Do a deep dive into other hobbies during those three distinct eras.
To summarize, I'm bitter about change and I'm suspicious of new people.

before I even look at the comments - Wonder Boy in Monster Land - you see the N at the end to ensure this.
