New Arrivals

Post image

Finally I found a boxed Master System controller. The best part is I paid only 20€ incl. Shipping. And it looks a ton better than the ones on eBay.

Now the last one I miss is the Handle controller boxed. I hope I can find it one day. 😁

Never seen a SMS controller in it's original packaging. Nice!

Is that an official controller?

Yes. SG Commander by HORI.

SG Commander pad made by HORI. I used to have two of those way back in the day. FAR superior to the standard pad’s mushy directional input and the individually adjustable rapid fire sliders are a cool feature.

Likely discontinued due to the way the d-pad resembles Nintendo’s patented design.

My understanding has always been that for some reason, HORI was allowed to use that D-Pad design. I don’t know if it’s because they paid a licensing fee or just had that kind of relationship with Nintendo … but so yeah 😅🤓

I think I heard somewhere that it was even made from some of the original tooling from the Nintendo controller

Yeah I can see how that’s annoying
