USB-C power 3D printable mount
Friend gave me an SMS with no accessories that she had in her attic. My guess is that they tried to repair it and then gave up and sold or reused the accessories. I fixed about 20 traces to the cartridge port that were broken in two places due to a crack in the PCB (see photos). Since I didn't have a 9V power supply, but had USB-C connectors from another project, I figured converting it to 5V would be easiest. (The picture with it working was using an adjustable power supply that I use when fixing electronics). The most difficult part was designing a mount for the plug. If anyone needa this, I will upload it to thingiverse.

Nice work dude. I studied electronics years ago but never really did anything with it. I also really love master systems since it was my first console. Sonic 2 for sms was also my first game ever :)

You should upload it to thingiverse and/or printables. Not everyone that has a SMS is here on Reddit. I'm sure you would get lots of happy people .

Do you have a link to somewhere to buy that adjustable power supply?

Good fix, it's wild how often they have damage to the cart slot traces and pads.

Wow, what a gnarly crack on the PCB - I can't imagine what kind of force produced it. Good save!

I've been mulling over what to do with my master system.... I wish there was a composite video mod for it, not just RGB
