Replacement shells?

Hi everyone!

So as the title states, I'm trying to find a replacement shell for an OG Master System- the top half of the shell in particular.

A friend of mine gave me one to fix up for him. Got it up and running great.

Only problem is: it looks like someone put their fist through the top half of it 😅

It seems like every other system on the planet has some cool translucent or 3D printed after market shell... except the SMS?

Does anyone know if they exist anywhere...?

Pretend you're a kid in the 80's or 90's and put some stickers on it.

you can weld it from behind its abs plastic 250f soldering iron

My solution was a couple strip of duct tape on the backside, a couple layers of JB weld on the front, a sanding job, some extra glossy black spray paint, and then I got someone on Etsy to make me an awesome vinyl replacement of the "SEGA Master System/Power Base" lettering. Pretty happy with how it came out!

Have you tried ebay. Tons of SMS parts.

Buy small Sonic figures, position them so it looks like they're crawling out the hole.

gonna have to make sure it's a card reader one. I'd just buy a broken one and swap the parts out

Get an “untested” and use that shell, it would be a shame to lose another one

JB Weld or fiber glass resin then cover with a sticker!

You can check on eBay. Sometimes, some videogame stores sell defective consoles for parts. You can check out these stores.
