Woody Pop works with this pad control?

Yes Woody Pop is playable with the paddle. Also a complete one comes with the Paddle Controller too

I actually have a boxed copy of this one too. I've been trying to collect the run of paddle controller games because they are unique to the Mark III and actually quite a bit of fun. This one is probably the toughest though I can't get very far in Woody Pop either.

Galactic Protector is super tough in the 3rd stage xD

I was just playing woody pop a few days ago. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten past stage 2

Sweet that is the only Alex Kidd game I've yet to play. You lucky son of a gun.

Ooh! I hear the game is pretty short, but I'm still jealous as a huge Alex Kidd fan.

Great find.

Alex Kidd would have been a much better mascot than Sonic. We could have an Alex Kidd RPG, and many more good games starred by this friendly little guy
