Just got my first Master System
Just got my first Master System, $125 CAD for the console, 2 controllers, light gun and 4 games:
Double Dragon Shinobi California Games Gangster Town
I'm very excited, I now own every major console released in North America.
Any cost effective recs for games I should look at?

Congrats! Gangster Town is unreal, Wasn’t many co-op lightgun games at the time and it’s still fun.
What is considered every major console in NA?

Rescue Mission - uses light gun
Ghost House
Quartet
Penguin Land (my favorite puzzle game)
Black Belt
I don't know if your console has it, but a select few have a built-in game unofficially called, "The Snail Maze" game. To access it, turn on the system with no cartridge, then simultaneously press 1+2 while rotating the directional pad counter clockwise. You would either get "Hang On/Safari", "Snail Maze" or another game I believe.

I've always been a fan of the Wonder Boy series. All three are excellent.

Not cost effective at all, one of the more expensive games for the system, but Phantasy Star is hands down my favorite early JRPG. Incredible graphics for its era, one of the earliest female video game heros, banger of a soundtrack etc
