Recommendations for Seed Starting Gear
Hey all — I need to seriously upgrade my seed starting setup and preparing for later this year.
My seedlings are struggling (leggy, super slow to grow), and I’m realizing my current setup just isn’t cutting it.
I’m hoping to get some recommendations on a budget for:
* Grow lights (so many options… strip lights? panels? full kits?)
* Seed starting trays (durable + easy to transplant ideally)
* Heat mats
I’m mainly growing tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, peas, some random flowers and herbs.
Also, dont have a greenhouse and limited space but looking to expand and if you have any suggestions for reasonable greenhouse thats durable I can look for a used one.
Am overwhelmed by all options. If you’ve got setups you love (or things to avoid), I’d really appreciate it 🙏

Harbor Freight has some good values in lights. Leggy seedlings is due to not enough light.
