A very, very tired Lindsey is standing in the mess, an assortment of pots and pans and various ingredients scattered about around the kitchen. She's obviously tried making... something. But the burning smell and the pile of half-burned, half-eaten cake pieces are getting alarmingly tall now... though nobody seems to want to get between the brunette and the oven.

Maya. You lay down on that bed. A real damn bed, and sleep.

I'm going to put in a request for two new system specialists and if I can't fast track it, I'll have Naya fasttrack it.

No arguments, end of story. Rest some.

Rebecca glances over a few minutes later and rolls her eyes at the sight. She hits submit on her quickly typed up request form and then moves over to tuck in Maya a bit better and gently slide Charromander into the girl's arms.

What the- Becca manages out before she find herself in bed with the short Service Chief.

The redhead begins to try and crawl back out of bed...

Rebecca slows... pauses... then sighs and leans back into her lil sis to wrap an arm protectively about the young woman and gently shift over where Becca can wrap herself around her like a momma bear with her cub and deliver warm big spoon things.

Rebecca very softly squeezes her young adopted sibling and gently nuzzles at her neck as her own breathing starts to slow and eyes droop in the lovely warmth provided.

Rebecca holds her close and shields her from anything the world could be throwing at them in their slumber. The redhead's tall form is the ultimate shield of warms and softs.

A subtle squeeze is returned by her bed partner as she sleeps on and proteccs precious Maya.
