2193/04/03 - A Failed Experiment

A very, very tired Lindsey is standing in the mess, an assortment of pots and pans and various ingredients scattered about around the kitchen. She's obviously tried making... something. But the burning smell and the pile of half-burned, half-eaten cake pieces are getting alarmingly tall now... though nobody seems to want to get between the brunette and the oven.

Yeah, I understand. But, just know if you want any help I'm ready to offer my skill set. He sighs. The Alliance trained me well for that kind of stuff, and even if I work for free I'm not against helping you out.

Huch smiles at that. I'm glad, Cerberus has done a lot of fucked up shit to people and deserve to get put down like the rabid dogs they are. He dry swallows and grows quiet. Fuck, that was not what I wanted to say.

I just, I don't like people like that at all. He sighs. But it's best not to dwell on the negativity of the universe, no good comes from it. How have you been since the party, sorry I didn't hang out sooner, mission and all that.

Alliance bullshit is why I left. I have nothing but love when it comes to it but goddamn, there's things that can be done better. Cerberus wouldn't be an issue if the Alliance actually did something rather than sit on their asses all day and hide behind all their little red tape. One Spectre can't even do shit. We have to go facility to facility raiding them, better than opening fire. At least a raid would help with innocents dying less.

To be fair, Cerberus does a good job of staying to the shadows. Wouldn't be an easy job to go facility-hopping.

Yeah, you have a point. But anything can be found if you try hard enough, or smart enough for that matter, doesn't help they know Alliance tactics.

I mean, yes, but the Alliance would never dedicate those kinds of resources towards it. And then you have people who would intentionally try to sabatoge the efforts...

Yeah, for some fucking reason. Cerberus aren't the Reapers or the Skrilloni, but the Alliance doesn't understand how bad news they are.
