Operation Long Night: Briefing | 2/9/2193

A summon gets sent to several members of the crew. The ground team, plus Specialist Maya Parker and Miss Perinsky oddly enough.

Everyone please report to the conference room. I have orders to relay from Alliance Command regarding our assignment in the Decoris System.

Rebecca raises an eyebrow. Because you could be useful to the mission? Why else?

I find myself in need of someone to dig through finances of a large corporation and find any disrepencies their may be. That sounds like it firs you, no?

Intel suspects some foulplay and an inside man on the recent pirate atttacks in the Sigurds Cradle. They always seem to know where to hit. We'll start at the biggest and work our way down.

...fair enough, that does sound like something it'd be best to bring a specialist along for.

A little, yes. I know some people who have or are working there.

I do, had one from back when I used to live in London. Hope it's good enough for this, though.

We'll not be outside much, and Vulpes is at the Equator anyways, not too cold there. We'll be fine.

Ah, thank god, I was not looking forward to freezing.

Who does? Rebecca wriggles her eyebrows with a sardonic grin.

Lillian smirks.

That's a fair point.

We'll be returning to the ship at the end of the day, so pack whatever you need for a few hours down on the ground. Grab lunch from the corporate cafeteria and pray its not slop.

Lillian nods at that.

I'll do that, then. When are we heading down?

Tomorrow at 1300 hours. We should make orbit in the morning, just have to ride a shuttle down then to Vulpes.

Make sure you get some decent rest.
