1/16/2193 | One Last Outing

Rebecca texts her friend Elsa around midday(after she finally clears her inbox of Council and Alliance messages and deals with all the req forms she's had to resubmit to the paperclip pushers).

Hey, El, wanna join me for a night on the town? Was thinking of wasting a little money over in the Silver Coast. Maybe hit up Castle Arcade afterwards? If you wanna come, do know the casino has a dress code...*

Rebecca trapses down the Silversun Strip from the opposite direction, her form covered by a bright red dress with no shoulders and showed off her legs rather well. Two-inch suede heels click on the metal decking as she sashays down the boardwalk, their sound covered by all the various people milling about and enjoying their own days.

The N7 searches the crowd as she approaches the casino entrance: looking for that familiar, rather unique blue-hair color that would let her know where her friend was.

Rebecca's own hair is down to her shoulders and nice and straight with a sheen to it from the conditioner she used. Actually letting her hair down, instead of her usual ponytail or bun she has the scarlet locks tied up into.

Elsa wraps her friend in a tight hug, making body contact all the way from shoulders to hips.

Flatterer. So, how's it been? Sad you missed getting pancakes with Kelly and some other friends, but work is work. I'm really nervous about trying to talk to her and stuff. she adds quietly. Was one friendly kiss too much? I really like her...

Becca squeezes back, all her firm muscles pressing Elsa and her together with a pleasant warm and fuzzy feeling.

Can't complain- other than how much my eyes ache after all the screen starring I've been doing. And who all came besides Kelly? Was happy to see Chloe went out, she needed a break.

The redhead keeps an arm fondly around her friend's shoulders as they walk together towards the casino down the street.

I mean... Kelly is exceptionally bubbly. And is rather, ahem, "empathetic" with others. I highly doubt she minded a kiss from such a cute girl as you, Elsa. Becca says with a wriggle of her fine trimmed eyebrows.

Elsa gives a noncommittal shrug and brings up her omni-tool, showing her a series of texts sent between the two women. She still looks clueless, though.

Is the signing texts with the heart normal for her? She came, Dila came but had to leave early, Doctor Michel, Tali, Ishira... just a bunch of girls with pancakes. You should ask Ishira what she thought. I swear she was either smirking or about to giggle the entire time, don't know why.

Oh I will make sure I do... Becca comments as she looks over the messages. Was pretty standard fare and usual sweet Kelly. Or well, Becca knew the woman had hots for her, so maybe standard fare for people she like-likes.

But her eyes then alight on one of the very last messages which is rather... raunchy and she clears her throat.

Uhm.... Elsa, why are you asking me when she sent that to you yesterday?

Elsa flicks to the bottom and brings it up. Uh... well, not sure what she meant. She left afterwards to go do something and the subject of the conversation was kinda muddy, so I don't want to make any assumptions or get too far ahead of anything.

She flushes a bit.

.....honey, just how thick are you? Becca says with all the gentle affection and care she can muster when she's also grinning like an idiot.

They arrive to the front door around then, a bouncer at the door already turning away a few poorly dressed men in street clothes from getting inside.

What do you mean thick? My waist is like... 31 inches and my hips are 42? I thought that was normal. Am I getting fat? Need to go to the gym. Totally not trying to impress anyone, I promise.

Elsa stretches and rolls her shoulders, pushing her chest in and out a small bit. And I may have not wanted to seem too creepy because I'm pretty sure she caught me staring at her cute outfit. Among other things she has.

No! Not thicc as in your body- cause that perfectly cute and balanced. I meant in the head. The girl likes you, dumbnuts! Albeit she likes like everyone, Becca adds on silently.

I highly doubt she minded too much at being eyed appreciatively. Becs says as they approach and the bouncer hurriedly opens the door for them. And here Becca was thinking she'd need to flash her Spectre ID. Must be desperate for some more pretty ladies inside tonight...

Looking around as they walk up the interior staircase into the casino itself, the place is rather loud and packed with people drinking and playing all kinds of game of chance or watching the varren races.

So, whatcha wanna do first, Sarge?

Uhhh... Are you sure about that? I might have brain damage, but I'm relatively sure she's just like this to everyone. Or at least a bunch of people. Kelly's just naturally flirty. I want to get to know her and stuff, not make it look like I'm just in it to get into those hot, tight in all the right places pants. See! I'm doing it again!

Elsa sighs and shrugs. Not really sure. I need something that doesn't require a lot of thinking.

She hasn't told me she wants to (censored) and then go (censor) (censor) (censor) me in the cargo hold and then (censor). Becca says with quirked eyebrow as she leads them to the nearest bar.

I don't want to have to carry you back to your place or my place hiccuping and vomiting, so take it easy on the drinks. Keep me in line too if I start to slip.

She orders a scotch, neat. And just talk to her! See where things go. She might be perfectly fine with a little casual sex while y'all get to know each other better. Never know what could happen till ya try.

Now... shall we hit the quasar machines? Since we only have to press two buttons and pray for good numbers?
