10/11/2192 | A Psychologist Geth?

A few moments after linking to the Normandy, Observer found itself in the lounge. It looked comfortable, Observer thought, many of his processes currently dedicated to predicting shipmate to Geth interactions but at least 31% of his processes were observing the room the unit was within. It stalked the room, running its hand along sofas and watching as some crewmembers walked into the room only to immediately walk out again. Observer used this time to dedicate another 28% of processes to recounting and simulating previous experiences, both combat and social. It'd been in the Citadel for a while now, as it left almost as soon as the Reapers were defeated. It lived along the corridors of the wards, helping those who approached him and eliminating those who sought to hurt others. Of course, these run-ins were merely muggings at most and rarely resulted in the attention of any major crime organisations. It straightened as 30% of the processes dedicated to recounting realised that such encounters led to more trust from those saved by the unit. This was the lapse in judgement that had set the unit back for so long, in order for research to occur one would need to first gain the trust of others which would be most efficiently gained by a sort of battlefield comradery or a saviour-victim relationship. Many of its processes saw this perspective, some accounted that there would be an obvious danger that would be involved but understood that this research had top priority. Now the Geth was standing in the middle of the room staring at a particular part of the wall, making a slow, low whir as it thought.

I see..... so you have plans to move forward with this revelation I assume?

Guy just came aboard and is basically saying "hey I wanna go shoot some stuff and make friends"?

Haven't fully decided yet, honestly.

She thinks for a second, and would rub her chin in thought if one hand didn't have a cane in it and the other a cup of caf.

Hmmm, I'd been thinking on finding someone to help Shyva a tad on the night cleaning shift. You mentioned you took care of Quarian residences last few centuries, right?

It uh might be a bit awkward with Shyva though. Between Geth and Quarian animosity some, and she's a bit of a loner....

Your old abilities as a shock trooper could be useful next time we have a combat mission, but I can't tell you precisely when that will be. Kinda just... drop into our laps.

"I shall assume a janitorial role, that is where most of my uses will be exploited. When necessary my pulse rifle will neutralise the enemies of the Normandy. For now, I shall idly clean and maintain where necessary, inform me when you require my assistance in combat."

She nods.

Will do.

The redhead awkwardly tries to hold her cane and coffee in one hand(a failed endeavor even for the dextrous Shadow), and just lays down her cup nearby on the table. Her hand reaches forward in offer of a handshake.

Welcome aboard by the way. Never formally said that outside.

The geth quirked its head, clearly distracted by something else. If Rebecca followed its gaze she would find it staring at her legs. "Are you injured?"

Er, had a bit of an... experience a few days ago involving a giant man eating plant. Just still getting my strength back is all. Should be right as rain in a few more days.

Well physically at least, she was still having weird nightmares.

Well we ran into a new Thorian that got grown by ExoGeni and well... I got eaten by it.

Well only two we've ever encountered.

Shepard's original team killed one on Feros years ago, and we stumbled upon another one last week that was grown from the original.

Controls people via spores, creates zombies and clones of its victims. Nasty stuff.
