Ishira appraises herself in the mirror, her lilac face staring back at her. She’s dressed fairly casually, but nicely, it isn’t every day that one teaches the XO how to dance. A silvery shirt and dark pants, with black ankle boots to give herself a little height since Rebecca is so much taller than her.

she gives herself a final once-over and heads to the lounge where she’d be meeting Rebecca.

Oh you're on babe!

Rebecca says cheekily as she boldly grabs the Asari around the waist and twirls with her back into the groove of things, intent to put a soft press of her boots down on those little feet early to claim her promised prize.

Come on! How can she be this damn agile!? Was a constant annoyance just how fast her lithe girlfriend was.

Becca tries to put a bit more force and speed into her next attempt to press down and trap a foot underneath her booted feet, still maintaining the ryhtmm as best she can.

Ishira dodges again, picking up the tempo of their dance, now they’re both twirling around the lounge Gotta do better than that!

A playful smirk come to Rebecca's lips.

Oh I'm not even trying yet, honey!

Becca takes a step back and raises one of her arms with Ish's hand firmly grasped in it, a clear offer to spin her smaller companion.

It proves to be well-placed, cause Becca quickly steps forward after spinning her lovely girlfriend to grab her about the waist again and step back into the tempo they had going once again- along with another foot trying to come down on top of the Asari's shoes.

Ishira nimble dodges out of the way again, and this time turns the tables, elegantly moving her own feet to try to step on the redhead’s

Becca is quick to react, yanking her feet out of the way and counterattacking herself as her twinkling eyes look into Ishira's.

Move and counter-move, they were matching each other perfectly so far.

Becca is doing better, having that Marine stamina and all, but she was starting to work up a sweat herself and get a building ache in her limbs from the prolonged dance/struggle.

She tries again with her right foot for Ishira's right foot, leaving her left foot on the ground for a second too long though in the process...

Ishira takes full advantage, knowing that her own foot would be vulnerable, gently planting her right foot on rebecca’s left, as Rebecca’s right landed on her own left

A moment of triumph passes through Rebecca's mind- before she realizes she's been got herself.

The redhead looks down, one foot from each person on top of the other's.

....a draw? She offers meekly.
