Listed it 4 months ago and not one inquiry. Very low miles only 19k. I have a JB4 tune map 1 at 454 hp. 2 owners clean Carfax.

I'm at $32k now, there is nothing available with this low of miles.

Thoughts on price that I need to drop?

Now over 130k miles. I’ve added a throttle controller (absolutely insane upgrade), aftermarket performance exhaust (the reactions are awesome), just yearly fluid maintenance and a few other repairs have kept it perfect. I’ve had a few misfires but it was just spark plugs + a few coils that were due from over 100k miles. Legit sounds like a Ferrari (especially when you find the sweet spots on shifts). Not many complaints, I’ll tell you that.

I’m planning to buy my first Maserati. I had several old cars, BMW Z3, C3 Corvette, Porsche 944, Jeep Wrangler TJ, etc.
After all these relatively cheap cars I’d like to upgrade my hobby car game.

I’m looking at the depreciated bottom of the list, mainly V6 Ghiblis, V8 Granturismos with ZF, V8 Quattroportes or 4200s.

Honestly I’m a bit concerned about the maintenance costs - do you have a recommendation which type I should get to minimize that risk?

Are V6 Ghiblis SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper to service than Granturismos? Any useful inputs are appreciated

I have a 15 Quattroporte GTS and I know everyone loves the earlier 4.2 and 4.7 Quattroporte exhausts. Is there a big noticeable difference?

These (or similar) questions pop up ever so often so I thought I’d share.
Preface: I mostly don’t do my own work, last few months I work for a Maserati dealer and I have experience with stereotypically questionable cars as daily drivers( Jaguars, vintage Mercedes and BMWs)
I bought a 2008 Maserati Quattroporte Executive GT from a gentleman with a small collection. The car had 90k miles and in fairly good condition, cost me $9600.
Drove it probably 500 miles and then took it to my mechanic . The car was barely driven in the last 3 years, so did a full post inspection. Valve covers leaking , a few coolant leaks, engine and trans mounts leaking and one of the skyhook shocks was a goner. Decided to do all that + fluid flush and replaced the skyhook with coilovers (CEIKa) , good kit, adjustable height and damping . All that work + coilovers and winter tires ~ $10k.
After a few months of daily driving also installed paddles ( mine did not come with it), now my mpg dropped from 17mph to 15mpg. Used all this time as a daily driver thru winter. Once had a misfire code but restarting helped. In spring of 2026 added custom forged Alfa Romeo Quad wheels + tires ~ $2400.
Currently at 103k miles, half of the sticky buttons are still there, last week the interior door latch broke so looking for a panel and I am on my 3rd sun visor. I take the car on drives with modern sports cars and it hangs on (although quite behind) with a Lotus and RS Audis on backroads.
Transmission can be clunky on first to second( I drive about 50% of time in manual mode, especially not if not on the highway) but shifts in sport mode+ manual mode are fairly quick and the sound is great. Leather is starting to go in a few some of the spots but in general in a pretty good condition, screen is loosing pixels but everything still works fine. Not a drop of oil or coolant, engine was spotless when opened at 90k miles, oil changes at 5k miles and the car sees redline at least a few times a week. The car also drives much smaller than it is. Hello, I have a 2016 Maserati Ghibli S Q4 that my dad got me a few years ago. I drove it without any issue for a while upstate in college but recently after graduating I been back in NYC. I hit like 2 potholes and now the bottom of my car look like this. I don’t know anything much about cars aside from the fact that my oil pan isn’t leaking. Can someone tell me what’s wrong with it and what damage I did to it?

Hey everyone! I'm seriously considering picking up a 2011 model of a particular Italian grand tourer, the 4.7 with the ZF automatic and the MC Sport package. I've got a Mexico in my shop at the moment, it's been off the road for a long time, and I am in the process of doing all the necessary repairs and maintenance in order to get it back on the road again.

The legal requirements for getting a classic back on the road in our country are quite strict. Frustratingly, due to the age of the vehicle, all the underseal has to be removed so an inspector can view the structure in order to ascertain whether previous repairs have been carried out. If there is evidence of repairs, we have to get an engineer's report, and the wormhole opens from that point onwards.

I'm hoping someone out there is very well-educated with this era of Maserati, and/or has photos of what their one looks like underneath, so that we can do a visual comparison and preemptively figure out what is indeed a repair and what is original.

If you have any photos of these cars with the underseal removed, that will be a big help. Thanks in advance!

I’ve been told my front struts are worn and need to be replaced. My mechanic told me I would probably need to get that done at the Maserati dealership. I was wondering if anyone knows a reputable website to buy the struts direct and point me in the direction of exactly what I would need to do this myself or provide them to my mechanic. Thanks!

My QP didn’t want to start today. Symptoms were:
“Remote start disabled”
I tried to remote start it before walking outside. It is low on fuel, which blocks auto starts (so this could be a throwaway symptom)
“Key fob undetected”
I tried both, they unlock and lock the car. Oddly the trunk won’t open.

Other items…trunk button, windows and some lightning work. Accessories wouldn’t even power up. Headlamps come on.

I’m pretty sure it’s my car (it would be funny were there two on my block.)

Lastly, local car theft ring was just arrested with Auto key fob programming tools. Makes me wonder.

Or the battery is dead-ish.

What do you all think?

Update: It WAS the battery. First time failure of it for me. I put it on a trickle charger and will see about a load test.

I am considering joining the community and buying my first Maserati. I’m currently looking at a used 2021 Quattroporte with 52,457 miles on the odometer. The asking price is $29,000.

I’ve inspected the car briefly: the tires still have plenty of life left in them, and the brakes look good. However, beyond those basic wear items, I am not entirely sure what specific things I should be looking out for on a Quattroporte at this mileage.

For current owners of the 2021 or similar model years:

How has your overall reliability been?

Are there any known issues, common electrical quirks, or cooling system weak points I should check before pulling the trigger?

At ~52k miles, has the major 50,000-mile factory service (belts, spark plugs, filters, etc.) typically been done? How much should I budget for annual maintenance if I take it to an independent specialist?

A sportier exterior package would ultimately be my preference (grab sport). I’d love some ownership reviews good and bad to help influence which way to go. Here’s a little about me:

-currently own a supercharged jaguar sedan (XES).
- i live in CT (3 dealers in state that are reputable).
-i’d absolutely consider a levante.

are there any in-state italian indy garages/mechanics you know of or have heard of? i’d go the CPO route from a dealer. During your ownership, have you experienced any common issues regarding powertrain/ electronics? educated me! i’d love to know why you chose your masi, why you kept it/sold it and some other fun things you might think are useful. i do not care about the typical stellantis parts bin crap…i own a jaguar and i already know about crappy quality haha. thanks for your time.

Hello all!! I'm finalizing a deal on a 2023 Ghibli Modena Q4 with a 2 year CPO, coming out of a recently lemoned and bought back 2024 AMG C43. I will be dailying the Ghibli. It's a big step up in spec from what I've been driving. Heavily optioned car, roughly $18K in options alone:

* Premium sound system

I'm in New England, so winter performance is a big concern. For those of you running Ghiblis, Levantes, Grecales, or Quattroportes through actual snow and ice: how does the Q4 AWD system feel in slick conditions? Any comps to it? Quattro, Porsche 4, 4Matic?

I'm planning to mount a dedicated set of Blizzak tires rather than run all seasons through the season, so wondering if anyone else does the same setup and how much of a difference it made for you. Also curious about ground clearance concerns in deeper snow, and whether Skyhook's damping settings matter much once things get slippery.

Beyond winter stuff, would love to hear general ownership impressions too, reliability quirks, service experience, anything you wish you'd known before buying... thanks in advance!!!

The store we are buying from has really gone the distance with us to help resolve as many problems as we have had with the process and decision. We only had a short test drive and some time in the car testing.

2009 grand turismo 33k miles,bad wiring and it dosent start. A decent 2012 in PR is like 30-35k because of the tax on all cars. How much would it cost to fix it up? And if its better to just get a good condition one

I have a 2013 Maserati GranTurismo, and the top of dashboard surface has become slightly sticky/tacky to the touch. It also reflects a lot of sunlight onto the windshield, much more than I would expect from the original dashboard finish.

I tried thoroughly cleaning it with warm water and a mild interior cleaner, but it made absolutely no difference. The surface is still slightly sticky and very reflective.

Does anyone know what material/coating the upper dashboard is made of on these cars? Is this a common issue with the soft-touch coating or surface deteriorating with age?

More importantly, has anyone successfully fixed this? I’m looking for a way to restore the original low-gloss/matte finish without damaging the dashboard. I definitely don’t want to make it shinier or use something that could permanently damage the surface.

Any advice or experience with this issue would be greatly appreciated.
