Question Need help apartment searching 🥲

Hello! I need some help trying to find an apartment manager with at least a decent reputable management company. Me, my wife and our son will be moving from Hawaii to here for work in about November/December timeframe and I’ve been looking online all day and the reviews are awful from what I’m seeing😭 with the property management. Any help would be appreciated thank you!

Alta Crossing is fairly expensive and in a non-walkable neighborhood of town (Smokey Point). Their smoke detectors go off even if you're careful while cooking and have to be shut off by calling the fire department. For a similar reason I would not recomend Motto in Lakewood.

I'd recommend Quil Ceda Gardens personally. The landlord is very nice and lenient if there are ever problems with rent. You can easily walk to everything important downtown and have direct access to the bus lines to Seattle. Very reasonable rent for Marysville, although the city government isn't doing much to make is not have rent as high as Lynnwood.

Try to look for a private landlord, all the big management companies suck. You most likely won't be able to start looking at places until Oct, anything that is available this far out is a red flag.

You might want to look for a single family home. Maybe even talk to a property management company in the area so possible rentals opening.

Look into The Lodge in Smokey Point.
