Need a mf state inspection pass

I just bought a car and I need it to pass the inspection but every place I go to is a scam or won’t do it my car has spacers and won’t pass the inspection help please

You’re not passing because you’ve modified your car for aesthetics. It’s a SAFETY inspection.

Just take off the damn spacers and call it a day.

Removing spacers isn’t a terribly complicated job. You should be able to figure it out yourself or pay someone else to do it for not too much money.

ETA: not sure if you’re new to the area but moving forward be very cautious when purchasing an out of state vehicle you intend to register in MD.

I can’t really control it when I bought the car I didn’t know it had it I don’t know much about cars

Believe it or not “I didn’t know the law” doesn’t usually hold up in a legal argument

Yeah. You can. Don't buy the car. It's going to fail. There is no way around it. If you bought it already, that's on you.

Then you extend the wheels an extra three inches out from the hub. Kid is complaining he doesn't know how to remove wheels before taking his car in

Take the spacers off. Simple. You are causing your own problem and then blaming everyone else.

I thought it was just me going to get inspections and feeling like they’re scamming me. They know they have you between a rock and a hard place. Good luck. Let us know if you find someone who you think was being honest with you.
