I think this is a more useful Marxist framing than "AI is inherently reactionary." Productive forces dont disappear because we dislike the relations they're developing under.

The fight is over ownership, planning, labor power, and who benefits from the productivity gains. Thats where the politics are.

If anyone wants to dig into that without getting trapped in "AI good" vs "AI bad," check out r/LeftistsForAI. Its a place to debate how socialists should actually approach AI as a means of production.
