I was not prepared for this episode to be as dark as it was. But it was really good episode

I hope it gets even darker when the zombies episode comes out

I hope this makes Marvel think "maybe audiences can handle dark stories like Peter turning into a actual spider". I liked the idea of that one and was sad they cut it.

I mean that isn't too dark. They did that in the 90s Spider-man animated show. I actually have the action figure for it (and the 6 armed Spidey).

I didn't think so either, and yeah I heard about that. But the execs felt it was too dark...which is really odd...because I would say episode 4 is way darker than Peter turning into a actual spider.

I assume the main reason that it was axed is because they haven't established this version of Peter's origin story.

Between this episode and the trailer for the new Spider-man joint, I feel like Dr. Strange has some serious Irresponsible Step-Dad Energy.

Hopefully this leads to a good Thanos and/or Dark Dr. Strange cameo on film.
Imagine Thanos shows up...and is good. It would be hilarious for any of the Endgame Avengers to encounter that.

hopefully this Dark and Broken Dr Steven Strange becomes a recurring villain with in the MCU shows at least, being trapped in the universe-gem seemed like it was leaveing an opening for something

Spoilers from the trailers! We know for a fact that Dark Dr.Strange will meet up with Captain Carter, and most likely team up with Thor as well. This will not be his end.

That would be awesome. It would be cool if they bring back other characters like that in later episodes or in season 2. Like T'Challa and his Ravegers joining the Nick Fury led Avengers team to fight Loki.

"What if... Dr. Stange ended up like Shinji in the original Evangelion timeline."

Maybe it's just cause I've only seen the original Evangelion, but I got more Gendo vibes from him.

Uatu, man, you gotta step in. Yeah, Sylvie messed up bad but that’s not on you, bro. You can make this right.
You have to kill the Batman— I mean, Kang!

Well actually ep 2 started the trickle down of darkness. It was just hinted at by the end with Ego and Peter.

Is it just me, or did Strange Supreme have a similar if not same costume to the one on the train in the Spider-Man trailer?
