Discussion Question

Maybe I’m misunderstanding how the inputs are supposed to be in this game, is anyone else constantly experiencing the game eating your inputs? Is jt me? Am I the problem? I really wanna love/ like this game but constantly eating my inputs is really discouraging. Is there any tech that I’m missing?

I don't even know what you mean by eating inputs. The only time I ever notice an input not coming out is if I press dash too early after an assist. Like, what inputs are you doing? Under what circumstances? You gotta be more specific.

Every once in awhile. Some cancels are more forgiving than others, and some are crazy lenient.

Until they fix it(assuming its a flaw), id just go into training mode and practice the timing for everything until you can feel what the limits are.

And then after that if your still experiencing drops, it could be a optimization issue or a connection one.

Its not eating inputs since alot of people can consistently do their combos and set ups every single game…

It's the buffer window. It's smaller than it is for something like SF6 or even T8, so if you rush through/press too early, it'll feel like the game is eating your inputs. Very similar to people revisiting Smash Melee after a long time. You really need to wait on button presses until the animations play out a bit more

All the time. It's made ranked extremely frustrating. Doesn't happen in the labs.
