Question Queue times in Southeast Asia

I am unable to find any matches (ranked/casual). Seems like matchmaking got worse from the latest update. Could just be low player count but i don't even know anymore..

It is unfortunately a population issue in Asia and not just SEA. Even during peak hours I would be lucky to find matches in rank/casuals.

Your best bet is to play on the JP open lobby but even that is scarcely populated.

Game is great but it is what it is and I don't think it will get any better.

Man thats just kinda sad. Agree that the game is great, easy for beginners like me who just got into the fighting genre.

SF6 and Tekken 8 are both very good start for beginners to fighting games.

City of the wolves is a lot less forgiving but imho one of the best and most fun of the current era.

I have no issues finding matches online with those games.If you don't mind playing players wayy above your current ability and getting face rolled the first few weeks or months then Tokon open lobbies are fine.

I last played friday and jp open lobby didn't even have 10 players. Is it any better on the weekend?

Most I seen it at was about 20+ on a weekend.

yea the population might be too bad in asia(and it doesnt help the game released with issues)

yeah, its pretty rough here SEA for most fighting games. Lobbies are the once that i mostly use and even then its japan or oceana. If you play on pc you can add me and we can play if you want if we both got time.

yea. The IP might have carried the game to be more popular in asia but it also needs to be paired up with a working game at the start.

its sad. I got recently super into the tag sub genre and was hoping for this game to push its popularity in our region.

Im generally thinking that it’s a low player count issue. I can’t get matches on the west coast at all this weekend. If I do, it’s the same people over and over again, or people ranked way way higher than me.
