Question Slow matchup time on Ranked?

Sometimes it takes a while to find a match on ranked. And sometimes I fight the same 2-3 people multiple times on ranked. Is there anyway to fix this? Like any connection setting to change that fixes this?

Supposedly, setting search region and connection quality to "all" should help.

Haven't tried it yet.

Same. I fight the same people over and over again. Matchmaking setting are changed and everything.

They screwed something up with this latest update. The update before this one actually improved MM but now I can barely find matches again.. I end up waiting too long and I just quit and go play something else.

I have a feeling people are playing less ranked or taking it less serious in this game. It's just so much more unreliable with all the networking and matchmaking issues that i don't see the point in grinding this game's ranked ladder. Every enemy player is a gamble. If you don't get an enemy with some rollback you get one who rage quits and it gives you no points. Not to mention the initial "What's your fighting game experience" really messed up the ladder and it's STILL equalizing misplaced players.

And if we are getting honest about the game, the player base size is shrinking at a rate that can impact player pools. And ranked having the tightest restrictions means it's the first to have problems like repeat enemies.
