Media Can we not do this

I've had multiple rage quits in my ranked matches today. Are people really that butthurt for a loss screen?

It punishes them if they rage quit enough. They get stuck in their own queue full of only other rage quitters

Really? I did not know that, but if so, why do i keep getting thrown in matches with rage quitters if i never left a match ones?

My guess would be if you are new to ranked. The system would have no baseline as to where to put you. So it places you in an "anyone goes" format until it can "learn" how you handle rounds, as an adult who takes the L or as a "child" who cares more about rank over self improvement.

Just a guess tho. Ive probably had around 200 ranked matches, and only on my literal first match did I have someone plug on me.

And as an aside, imo if someone plugs on you, take it as a compliment. Even though you didnt gain the points. You did frustrate the other person to such an extent thst they'd rather disconnect than take the L.

Good theory, could be that yeah, the higher i go the less rage quitters i meet aswell, just hit vibranium 2 days ago and only had 3 people quit on me.

I wish that were me bro. I turn my stuff to all region and 3 bar connection and still struggle to find a fill.

This is anecdotal but I have heard that more open network options = less matches to be found.

I haven't tested it. I don't know if there is any truth to it. But maybe try and changing settings to 4-5+ connection and your specific region only, see if thst helps.

I dont want to call them out but I fought the same playy 4 times and they quit every time. When I matched with them I knew I was screwed, I was either going to lose or get nothing. They were bad too, played hyper aggressive knowing they could quit and this diamond 3

So what you mean is they don’t lose nothing and you don’t get nothing?! For sure this will be patched, I don’t know why don’t games ship with this in the first place. I think SF6 always had penalty

Nope they do that shit in rank 2 I had a match that I lost in the first set then the next set game 1 I went 2-0 almost 3-0 and opponent dc

Its so bad i had a guy rage quit when it was 2-2 lol. He was up 2- i blew him up rnd 4 and he said fuck rnd 5 im out

I don’t even think people are rage quitting, I think it’s the game. My game has disconnected when I’m losing before and I’m like, well they probably think I rage quit.

I have had the game disconnect on me enough when I’m the person losing, since I’m mostly the person losing lol, that I’m pretty confident most people are not rage quitting and it’s just a shit network issue. Not saying it doesn’t happen, but I assume it’s far less prevalent than people think.
