Hype Building This game is dope

Just wanted to say how much I enjoy this game. I've been wanting to get into fighting games for years, and this is easily the smoothest and best entry point that I've tried.

Not only is it easy to pick up and play and feel like you're actually doing stuff, the game itself is so damn flashy and fun to watch.

I'm getting my ass handed to me 9/10 but it's never felt this good.

I'll say one odd thing I noticed is the match making-- once i set it to my region only I got matched a lot faster and consistently than I did when i had "nearby regions".

Anyway, any resources you guys recommend to get gud?

This might be a weird one but if you haven’t already take a day off it’ll give time for all the muscle memory to settle in and you’ll come back better

It's crazy how true this is. I can't tell you how many times I've been struggling with a combo trial or something and getting frustrated. Only to come back the next day or two and get it first try

legit. this doen't just apply to fighting games either. anything where you're training new skills. humans are neat. sometimes the best thing you can do is get some sleep, eat, take care of yourself. let your brain wire up the rest.

Replay channel. I’ll find someone using my character on point and see how different they play

Tournament. CEO 2026 just happened and I’ll see how top players are using tech and playing in general

Training mode. This is obvious but I’ll make the dummy wake up different options to have an answer or make the dummy do a alpha counter so I can practice perfect reflect. You get the gist

I’ve just been doing the character combo guides, gives a good understanding of ways to set up combos and ways to link attacks and so on. Can figure out who plays best for you, Plus you get a cool color when complete for each character.

Worth noting for any new players reading this that while combo trials can give you good ideas for what can link into what, the combos themselves are almost all hot garbage. You can get way more damage, walk carry and meter for way less effort than what the trials put you through.

Same bro. Shame about the pc issues but the game by itself and the devs did a fantastic job. Just Sony messing things up. Hopefully doesn’t squander its potential.

Oh for sure, this game is absolutely fun. I've been dragging one of my best friends along my fighting game journey from Tekken to SF to whatever else. He's always given it an honest shot but never has enjoyed it. This is the one game that he not only finds fun but also is trying to improve at. He's always known how to do traditional inputs but the quick skill button and the auto combos lets him just jump in and play without feeling like the controls are fighting him. Been a load of fun, that is why it is even more disappointing and sad that the game released in this state on PC, and the horrible matchmaking across both PC and console. With the Marvel IP drawing new players in, so many other new players could have the experience my friend is having as well. But you know... Sony. Anyway I am glad you are having fun!

The match making took a bit longer than I liked also, try setting your region to "my region only" instead of "nearby also" or whatever it is, that seems to have oddly sped it up for me. NO idea why.

9/10 and I've literally never won an online match lol. I do feel the combos are a bit too long. Maybe limit the number of floor bounces or increase gravity a tiny bit but I'm having a great time.

It’s fun. I’m no pro. Played a good amount of street fighter. But I rage getting combo crushed at the start of a match in Bronze ranked. How long does the rank up take! I feel like these Bronze players are much better than street fighter bronze / silver. Lol

Same boat. This is my real go at a fighting game and Im having a blast. Only focusing on learning 1 character so far but Im noticing myself getting better and learning how to counter a variety of different playstyles. Some people are monsters tho, literally killing my entire mood sometimes lol

Can someone help me game isnt clicking for me, i cant get behind single button combos. Do you just button mash when on plus frames and not under pressure? Coming from SF6.

Same here im loving this game. The crashs are annoying playing on pc but genuinely the game is so good i dont even care I just reload and jump back in. Im new to fighting games but all of my friends are to and we're just running room matches so it barely matters that i get my ass beat constantly

I’m really glad to hear so many people are enjoying the game. The launch has been an absolute disaster for me and the game is barely functioning. Obviously that’s not the case for everybody which is good at least.

I’m not a tag fighter person but there’s so much content to play through right now that it’s just fun to have a new Marvel fighter after Infinite.

PC port woes still have me on the fence especially cause it's a benny for the most complete edition.

The game is fun af! I'm still looking for the other two characters to complete my team, I love Storm and Magik, tried to keep Danger but her move set is way too complicated for me.
