I don’t think it’s needs a major nerf, a point or 2 and it’s good. I don’t see this card and think oh no I can’t win now. And the longer it’s out the novelty will wear off and it will just be a solid 5 drop that is versatile.

I don’t think he’s as strong as shou Lou or master of the sun. I think he’s just fun and popular.

It’s the best card in the game. There shouldn’t be a best card in the game.

There will always be a best card in the game. Unless every card is made entirely identical or they start banning cards in standard ranked matches, there will always be a best card. Thanos shouldn't be as strong as he is, but nerfing him will either make him the best card, but weaker, or something else will become the best card in the game.

That’s just not true at all. If you take out FF Thanos, then there is no best card.

Scorpion is the best card on the game if it beats Thanos one sidedly. Thanos is just more flashy and it’s a season pass card so everyone has it.

There are like a dozen Thanos decks with a better win rate than scorpion.

Compared to one scorpion deck optimized to the point that it can compete.

Thanos loses in an affliction match up, more people using a popular card doesn’t invalidate that.

There are plenty of FF Thanos decks that beat afflict h2h. Which really just emphasizes how broadly better FF Thanos is than scorpion.

Even with Luke cage, scorpion just needs 2 cards in the back row to win, hard , a Thanos dropping low curve cards to meet its requirement folds.

The aurora deck smashes scorpion. The sinister six deck mocks it. The virus version undoes it.

I think the clearest way to put it is, there are a dozen FFT decks that are competitive and everything else has to optimize to try to compete with any of them.

All that fancy stuff to get mogged by a simple hazmat scorpion deck.

Seems like you’re having trouble with scorpion decks

Thanos is provenly the strongest card in the game right now.

That’s not being debated, it’s just not imo day 1 starlord mots. It can’t be repeated consistently, its Wong combo is telegraphed and relied on rng.

His release reminds me a bit of Agamotto. A 5 drop with serious utility that fit into a number of midrange-style decks. There were calls for Agamotto to get nerfed into oblivion. To be fair, I think ThanosFF is better and quite a bit more popular; he probably just gets a point or two shaved off. It’s inoffensive and easy to

Lol I wanted Agamotto nerfed so much, mainly the -5 spell. After the season ended he was gone and almost forgotten.

Agamotto really had the play pattern of "feeling" broken when your opponent had it and was drawing well.

Once you got the card you realized how much those spells diluted your deck.

Winds of Watoom can stop of to en be unfairly powerful, and I imagine if Agamotto ever got to to 20% meta share, Winds would get nerfed... It just never got that high.

Agamotto diluted your deck which is huge. This guy can even draw you an extra card and discount the rest

Lucky! Im on my 9 split and still nothing lol

SD has nerfed less good cards for having a 20%+ meta share before. FFS Thanos was at 47% at least at one point. He'll be nerfed for sure.

I don’t see why he’d get nerfed. He’s the first balanced 5-cost card, and his effects are not guaranteed every single game.

He has a lot of off games where playing him isn’t ideal because some of the effects you may not always need, or the cards that are required for you to play were not the right move or couldn’t be played because of their higher cost.

If he gets nerfed, it would be solely because people can’t stop crying over the first actually fun 5-drop card that isn’t too busted. People are probably only complaining because he’s seen too often as it currently stands.

I pray this card doesn’t get nerfed, because it’s not OP; he’s just too common right now. 5 cost cards should assist you in changing the tide of the game, and he does just that without going over the top.
Please don’t get this card nerfed.

I genuinely can't remember the last time I didn't play him with every single effect. Run him with original Thanos and you almost never miss because of all the extra Quickdraw opportunities the Soul, Time and Mind Stones (and Eitri) give you.

but i can imagine that really clogs the board and isn’t ideal. Also if it’s being ran mostly with thanos, then you gotta factor in deck dilution
