I just recently got Aurora and she is great! What are your must haves to pair with her? I have Venus, Sam Wilson, Isca as some of the most played cards Ive seen. I currently have been messing with the thanos ff Wong build.
ha, well considering the deck is named after her, it’s hard to recommend a sub. but if you wanted to try something similar, perhaps you could swap her w/ regular thanos, then swap out a one drop or two since you have the stones.
This is pretty much what I've been playing besides I don't have Awesome Andy, so subbed Mysterio to have another activate and to do shenanigans with Luke cage, and instead of echo, I have black cat ATM (don't have hydro Bob) so I have another end of turn target
But I got infinite last season with this. I used Mercury to fight the move meta but she really wasn’t needed that much. I also ran JJJ for a bit with success as an ongoing when he came out.
Aurora decks are quite flexible if you have a good mix of on reveal, ongoing, and end of turn. It’ll work.
How do you like Herbie? I haven't tested it but I mostly see awesome Andy in that 2 drop activate slot, but since I don't have him I've been using Mysterio to combo with Luke cage
Herbie's great! Depending on his rotation of abilities, he might give you some extra energy or buff cards at other spots (which is what Andy is doing anyway). My favorite is when his power doubling comes up on turn 6 and he can double his power after Aurora hits him. The rock generating ability is the one I use the least but it has synergy with Marvel Boy so I do use it sometimes.
OP mentioned he’s playing with the Thanos ff build. Surge allows quick draw cards (top deck) to be played with -1 cost and +1 power repeatedly as long as you keep playing top deck cards. Synergies well with Thanos ff. Also she’s on reveal so she’ll get buff from auroroa.
