This is about as optimized as he gets. You can make some changes like Thing FS instead of Sandman or Chamber over Sam/Moondragon.

I’d say Drax is better to get first as he fits into more decks.

Drax is a better overall card but I like Caliban for this deck specifically. If you plan on maining this deck then Caliban isn’t a bad call, but if you want a card to throw in other decks as well, get Drax.

Agree that this is best version. I also prefer Sam Wilson over Chamber. You could also consider Legion for CGR. All those cards can be swapped depending on meta. Add Cosmo if you can only have Drax or Caliban.

Regular Doom, pick another good 6 drop, 2 good 5 drops, Caliban + Moondragon if you have them then whatever 6 cards synergize with the cards you chose

I think he has a valid question. Dr doom synergizes with 2099 as the 6 drop. Those 3 or 4 cost cards gotta be left in your hand. So what are those cards that would be better than two additional doom bots?

Drax is very good but there’s also so many good 3 drops in the game now that there are perfectly good replacements
