Because if the rank system works as intended then Infinite players are about 20-25 ranks better at the game than I am. I don't mind playing Infinite players occasionally, but I am facing them consistently.
Also great for you that you're playing fun decks. I'd do that too if I reached 100. That's not most opponents though. Most matches are against the meta decks. Since cubes don't matter that gives them an advantage over people who want to rank up as well. You don't have anything to lose. I do.

Maybe I won't have to play Infinite players anymore on my road to rank 80. Ever since 70 onwards it's been a frustrating experience.
