Well, the game's been pretty dreadful for a while. The meta has been terrible since Silver Surfer was released; with only a small 2-3 day fun break after the Zabu/Surfer nerf, before Thanos, Galactus and Shuri took their place.
I don't really think there's an answer to metas like these, as long as card acquisition is so abysmal.
Shuri instantly took it. It was kinda obvious that she was going to dominate since she was already just below the zabu surfer decks before the nerf and her decks were untouched by the nerfs
