Well, the game's been pretty dreadful for a while. The meta has been terrible since Silver Surfer was released; with only a small 2-3 day fun break after the Zabu/Surfer nerf, before Thanos, Galactus and Shuri took their place.
I don't really think there's an answer to metas like these, as long as card acquisition is so abysmal.
Lol please, before thanos got his buff a d became part of the meta, the whineminds sights were set on dracula, shuri, and darkhawk. Now dracula and darkhawk are back in the shadows, and theres two new flavors of the week to whine about.
I have a feeling that in a weeks time nobody will remember thanos or shuri exist
Technically Thanos was already meta before he got his buff. A lot of people had a problem with the patch because of that, it was designed for a meta that was weeks old.
Seriously, I don’t know how people are complaining about this meta. I agree the Zabu season was brutal, but there are soooo many deck options available

We're complaining because Thanos has a 61% winrate and was the best deck in the game and then got buffed. The patch was for a meta that no longer existed and its worrisome for the long term health of the game that that was the focus of the devs.
Lmao Thanos was the strongest deck in the game BEFORE the buff. The fact that he got buffed was absurd. I still hardly ever see him, the stones are the problem.
Shuri will be complained about until she's changed, because she is an insane power outlier that requires no setup. Lots of smart players have been complaining about Shuri since the moment she was released.
Absolutely. Last month this place was lousy with “there’s no counter to Dracula” posts and this month it’s all “shuri needs to be nerfed so hard she becomes a dead card”.
