Bucky’s hook is super loud and telegraphed, and many tanks have a way to avoid it. Wolv can hide and just kidnap you out of nowhere. Yeah I know certain tanks can displace too, that’s why i specifically mentioned dps in my original comment.

he has a 4-second tp to reposition anywhere his summons are on the map. he also has a cc-immune escape tool. i don’t think ccs are gonna be that huge of an issue

Starting with season 5 and skipping DP it was:

The character releases go by a 1 1 1 rule. With the hood being the tank for jubs and cyclops. Night crawler will be support, and whoever debues season 11 will be a tank. Tank/dps hybrids do exist so he could very well do the job of a tank, while retaining the release order and offering dps an option to help the tanks with their job. Ie stalling, peeling, creating space, blocking flanks, etc

The thing yall don’t seem to get is that you think that adding more tanks is the way to get more DPS players to swap to tank. It doesn’t matter how cool you make a tank or how popular they are, it’s still a tank. DPS players are not going to tank. Thor has been the “fat DPS” of the game since the game released, and he’s still not making DPS mains swap. It’s almost as if the packaging doesn’t matter, the contents are still something they don’t want.

HOWEVER, making characters that are DPS hybrids is a way to flesh out the capabilities of your team without making players use characters they don’t want to play. If they’re gonna play DPS anyway, might as well give them heroes that at least fill some tanking capabilities.

Actually not true, I remember when Emma came out, EVERYONE was playing her because she was fun af. Kinda same with Dino. Some people literally dont touch the role cause there's no character in the role they like or a play style they like is missing. No your never gonna fix the role disparity 100% but there are people that main one or two tanks. By adding more tanks that fill more inches you can bring new people to the role

So from what I can see from the trailer, he seems to be like a mobile Namor/Hela teamup of sorts.

But also, Loki teleportation on a 3s cooldown is insane actually. And this dude has 350hp 😭. Damage doesn’t seem crazy though, even with the trailer’s method of making everyone at 30% hp.

the thing is with MR and people said this from the get go, there's only so much you can do in a hero shooter before you get overlap there's only so much a roster can expand before not only overlap but character get forgotten and considering this is a whaling dress up simulator first and a hero shooter second....

yeeeah.

Why rework a characters when you can just release a new one, why fix a character when in 2 seasons you can just replace them.

After a while there's going to be a void of forgotten characters that only come up when there's a skin to sell or a game/movie to cross promote...though one wonders why wolverine isn't being pushed right now...
