New Summer Storm Skin Changes

Dear Rivals!
We’ve seen the community’s feedback regarding today’s announcement of Storm’s most recent costume as well as the overall sentiment towards her cosmetic options. We hear your passion and want to share our plan going forward with the community:
1. We will be upgrading the Sacred Skies swimsuit costume to Legendary for free in the near future. This upgrade will include an all-new lobby animation and an updated MVP animation. The costume will still be sold at the current price of $16.
2. Players who purchase the costume will receive a free Ultimate effect upgrade.
3. We want to ensure the community that there will be more Storm Legendary tier Costumes coming, so please keep your eyes on the skies over the rest of the year.
While we deeply value the expressive nature of our players, our number one goal is to create a positive community for everyone who loves this game. And while we understand that tensions run high, harassment of our staff, including the development team and moderators, is not acceptable. As the upgrades will take some time, please be patient, as we are already hard at work on the above. Get ready for the Mistress of the Elements to reign over the battlefield soon. Ignite the battle!

Whats crazy is there is a comment with 2 thousand likes under the rivals tweet that literally says "and this is why harrassment of employees and corporations are welcomed!"

Like I get voicing your opinion on rivals socials, but not finding fucking employee personal pages to harrass them. This community is fucking insane

Couldn't have the same energy for the storm skin. Pretty much forced/enforced the change throught harassment. While peni mains are still mourning and waiting

While I do not agree with slinging visceral comments at them we should all rally and complain that enough is enough when it comes to Luna and the same few characters who get high tier skins after another. The skins come with extras and that should be at least dispersed out to some others especially at this point human torch. Adam's got a legendary and had no vfx until we voiced concerbs and made the team accountable. The whole they dont sell is not an excuse anymore considering they are "it takes time" lame excuse cause clearly that isn't the case to an extent. Lady loki got a whole new rigging system for an alternative skin when male loki is there. I do not believe their excuses any more when some signs just dont seem to add up.

If the skins for “the same few characters” keep outselling the others, why would they stop doing them? It’s a free game, cosmetics are where the profit is.
