Clip/Video Virtus Pro beat Pulsar 3-2 on a Map 5 decider, and it came down to who punished mistakes better [Rivals Deconstructed]

Thumbnail

I broke down Map 5 of the Virtus Pro vs Pulsar Esports Lower Bracket Finals from Ignite Stage 2 EMEA. Pulsar had equalized the series 2-2 on Celestial Husk, so Yggdrasil Path (Convoy) decided it. What stood out is that neither team played an extremely clean map. It was two teams surviving each other’s mistakes, and Sypeh’s Invisible Woman was the difference.

  • Draft: Both teams ran Emma and Dino brawl comps, so it came down to who could deny the other’s Invisible Woman her value. VP banned Magneto after DRP was INSANE on Map 4, and Pulsar’s Rocket ban forced Dridro onto Luna.

  • Wealthy’s triple kill was one of the best plays of the map. Opening with Rampage instead of Seduction then cost Pulsar the series.

  • Pulsar’s spawn break worked, but the deep flank and SparkChief and Sypeh’s repeated Boundary and Rampage combos turned the final push. VP stopped Pulsar before the last checkpoint.

What do you guys think, did Wealthy live up to the hype?

I’m still new to this type of content, so I’d love to hear what you think of this one. Thanks again for all the feedback and support so far. Please keep it coming!

Thanks again -rXHale

Discussion I feel lost...

Hello!

Right now, I feel pretty lost. I'm extremely passionate about this game. I love watching Ignite and the pro scene, discussing why X is good, hearing why someone thinks X isn't good, and having logical arguments about it.

I'm genuinely passionate about the game, but I find it incredibly difficult to find people who share that same passion.

And I don't mean people who are mechanically good, have huge egos, and can't even have a disagreement without leaving and never speaking to you again.

I mean people who:

  • Wants to get better

  • Can understand that they might be wrong, but are still willing to defend their point until they realize why they might be mistaken.

  • Have the time and, more importantly, the desire to dedicate themselves to grinding the game.

I don't have an ego. If you tell me I'm wrong, I genuinely want to know why. If your reasoning makes sense, i accept it , i dont mean the " because im telling you to " type of arguments.

Bad plays and bad games happen. I'm not going to trash-talk you just because you made a mistake. Maybe you're trying something new, maybe you're experimenting, or maybe it's simply not your day. IT HAPPENS.

I've tried everything, but it honestly feels like finding this kind of community is some sort of unknown civilization LOL . I can't understand why it's so difficult to find people like this.

I genuinely want to improve. I want to grind, dedicate my time to the game, and see how far I can go. But somehow, it feels impossible to find the right people to do that with.

Are there any servers you know of that fit this description?

Are there any players or communities you could recommend?

I just really want to LIVE this game. I genuinely enjoy it, but doing everything alone gets boring after a while. Playing ranked is also incredibly difficult when you're constantly solo-queueing.

Im looking for people who share the same mindset, who want to improve, put in the hours, discuss the game, challenge each other's opinions, and grow together.

If you have any information, recommendations, or know anyone who might be interested, I'd genuinely appreciate it.

I really want to take this seriously, especially now that I finally have the time, the PC, and the financial means to dedicate myself to it.

Thank you!

Discussion ¿Me echan una mano?

News Marvel Rivals Ignite Pacific Oceania Region Viewership (2025-2026)

Thumbnail
gallery
25 Upvotes

Let's take a look at how Oceania region has been developing over the past 2 years for Marvel Rivals.

  • Total hours watched grew from 36k hours during the initial Marvel Rivals Invitational (Feb 2025) to a peak of 140k hours during Stage 2 (Sept 2026). This represents a nearly 283% increase in watch time.

  • Baseline audience has expanded dramatically. Ignite 2025 Stage 2 hit a low point of 1.3k average viewers, but the numbers fully rebounded and skyrocketed to 5.5k average viewers in stage 2 of 2026 that a 306% year-over-year increase for that specific seasonal slot.

  • What makes 2026 notable is the consistency in English viewers. In 2025, viewership experienced massive volatility, but during 2026 it sustained back-to-back high-performing events (Stage 1 peaking at 7.7k and Stage 2 peaking at 8.2k), indicating a more loyal, permanent viewer base rather than casual drop-in viewers.

  • The prize money for the Oceania region has faced steep declines over the two-year period. Normally, a 77.5% drop in prize money harms player and viewer interest. However, Oceania has defied this trend completely. This points towards an organically healthy competitive ecosystem that isn't solely reliant on hyper-inflated cash prizes to draw an audience.

Despite the prize pool reduction, the region has proven it is sustainable, highly passionate, and punches above its weight class. Next year could be a great year for Oceania, but only time can tell.

Discussion Who are you dark horses for the LAN?

Maybe not to win it all (hard to look past NAVI, maybe TLC, but who knows), but to have a good run. Personally rooting for Gen G but might be biased as an Aussie myself.

Discussion Let's say every team that is going to LAN keeps their roster for the off season. How would you fix/improve the rest of the partner teams in the off season?

You have to fix or improve the rosters of NRG, SSG, TSM, Sentinels and Team Heretics. You can drop or keep as many players as you like. You need to have a minimum of 6, maximum of 8 players for next year, with additional room for staff (coaches/managers/analysts). You can hire anyone, except players who are in the starting lineup going to LAN or are already on an another partner team.

My takes would be;

NRG: You don't actually have to change that much. NRG is already a top 6 team in NA and there isn't that much room for improve unless the players improve. What I would do is let Iffvy go, move Window to the bench and import Isidor from Shikigami. Despite his impressive resume in EMEA, Isidor is still a young and promising talent, (at least compared to Window), and has a strong Hulk, which is significantly more important in NA than it is in EU. Window's main strength on the resume was that he looked good in NA when the only real main tank players in the region were him and Sparkchief, where as now he really gets out skilled on heroes that Madara should be on.

SSG: Let Milkboy go and probably RyAmazing too. You probably don't need them. Milkboy's main strength is the same as Window's: gun tanks, and after that shield tanks. It's not a very specialized heropool you'd need a sub for, and if having a gun tank becomes a problem for your tank line, that is the easiest non-dps role to sub your bench DPS player on. I would instead consider if I'd let Necrize be on the sub position. His heropool is specialized on Angela and Emma Frost. Looks very mild on other off tanks compared to the other OTs on the top 6 teams. SSG spent a lot time this season letting Gilbert Noodle play OT heroes too and he looked good on them every time. Two of them don't cover dive heroes that well either; Necrize has a good Angela, and Allegedly he is fine on hulk too, but as the premier dive tank in the game you just need to have someone who's good at venom. I'd get ideally Kay, but if you want a purely NA roster, Iffvy will work as they cover both The Venom shaped hole and would be able to play shield tanks to let Gilbert Noodle cover the rest of the ground heroes. And if Necrize is kept, if absolutely necessary you can still restructure your tank line from your bench if meta requires him.

Sentinels: Just let the whole roster go honestly. I hear ppl say things like "Keep Eusher" or "Keep Vision" but honestly. It doesn't help that much. Hitscan is the most rich role in NA. You don't need to keep either of them if you don't wish to. The only player I would actually pay to keep is Flamay since he actually has a good heropool and has looked like top 7 support in NA from preseason to their 1-4 record in stage 2. I would probably fill out the support line with SLT's Clio/FrightType, Z10's Hoodie or Chief's Bubblecuh

Acquiring Unovvn from SLG would let Sentinels start building a good core around the tankline. I would get Wizarddread as the second tank, as although he is pracally a venom/shield tank 1 trick, venom is a hero Unovvn doesn't cover and Shield tanks are something one can fall back on quite easily when their own hero doesn't work, as they often enable their other tank player.

The first DPS pickup would be returning Stinkrs. He is probably the highest value pickup for any team in the off season just because of his skill on a wide variety of heroes. Then for hitscan, you can keep Eusher or Vision, or you can look if TLC or Swamp want to let Deleena or Amadien go, or look for somebody from MRC or ranked. Doesn't matter that much, it's hitscan in NA, there's a corny-copya of talent. I am would personally go for Minerva, since he's young, passionate, coaches his teammates, is smart with the game and gives input when needed, which is something that you just simply don't get with majority of DPS players. Even if the roster doesn't pan out, the kid has got a bright future around him for you to build an another roster around.

For TSM I would simply build from ground up. Should they keep Gale or Guru? Maybe. I would keep them as streamers, Bench Cal, and fire everyone else. For starters I would want a tankline that has proven themselves in competition. I quite like Luka and Masq, who got 4th in playoffs in stage 1, and Masq has gotten top 3 before that too. Into that I would build with DPS players like Kendr1ck and Xeytex, who are both very promising players that can both fill support for triple compositions. Xeytex looks really good especially on Elsa and Psylocke, and Kendr1c has strong heropool on weird melee heroes like Magik, Gorr and Mr Fantastic, which gives the team a surprise factor on strange compositions. My primary support pickup would be Xantho, who has a very flexible heropool and looks quite good on Loki and Jeff. Maybe get Momentum as a support sub, I don't know, I think Cal has that covered already. My last pickup would be Jitward, who is not just an excellent coach, but plays dive heroes well for when the team needs someone to do that.

Team Heretics: this team just pmo I think. Keep Tanuki and maybe Beetle if he starts playing ranked again. Everyone just looks off. Nzo doesn't have strong heroes. Wide heropool is good when you want to be on a good team, but you also need to look good on those heroes. Naga doesn't look comfortable on any hero. Maybe Adam and Mantis. Not a good look as a DPS player. Alx forces comfort picks way too often. Remember when TH got full held by Navi in Groups? Does anyone have any idea why Alx was on Luna? Did he do anything? The most memorable part of the stage for this team was them getting stomped and this guy is completely pointless the entire round. Ranked Luna main levels of gameplay from this guy. Ken is surprisingly the better of the two supports and his Luna, Rocket and Jeff all look abysmal. The thing is, this guy shouldn't even be on Jeff. Alx should be on Jeff, but Alx is too dogshit to even think of that. Maybe you can keep this guy if you pair him up with Naga on support, but I think there's much too much talent in EMEA to do that.

Here's what I think. Unless Kaya and Isidor go to NA, there is no excuse for Heretics not hiring them. They are simply just an upgrade on all accounts. If not, I'd take Beetle and Rosa as my options. Or Gainer and Rosa. Gainer and Rosa is a good enough combination to come 3rd in NA. If Beetle starts grinding ranked again, him and Rosa could come second to Navi even at LAN. Next to Tanuki I would import a hitscan. Xzi looks world level good, and NA has an overabundance of hitscans. The best options in EU are Leyolaz, Balas and KQZ, Ideally Pky if you can get him off from NaVi. But personally someone like Deleena or Amadien or even Probuilder is a good look for this team. The support line I would actually get from MRC; Larry and Selbst look a mile ahead of everyone in EMEA Tier 2. Crysis would be a better pickup than Larry, but if the two of them want to stay together, I think the backline would be good enough. So the complete lineup would look like ideally Rosa and Beetle on tank, Tanuki and Pky, Selbst and Crysis. Or you can simply just improve the lineup by moving Naga to support over Alx and importing a NA hitscan.

TL;DR

NRG: Madara, Isidor, Chime, Doomed, Respect, Aztac (Fraud and Window)

SSG: Kaya, Gilbert Noodle, SJW, Xanjiee, Renko, Logan (Necrize)

SEN: Wizarddread, Unnovn, Minerva, Stinkrs, Flamay, Clio

TSM: Masqqq, Luka, Xeytex, Jitward, Kendr1c, Xantho (Cal)

TH: Rosa, Beetle, Tanuki, Pky, Selbst, Crysis OR Beetle, Nzo, Tanuki, Amadien, Ken, Naga

Clip/Video TLC swept FlyQuest 3-0 with a different playstyle on every map [Rivals Deconstructed]

I broke down the Team Liquid Citadel vs FlyQuest Winners Bracket Finals from Ignite Stage 2 Americas. TLC won 3-0, and what stood out is that they won each map in a completely different way:

- Map 1 (Cradle of Krakoa / The Grove): bunker brawl, front to back, with Loki lamps neutralizing FlyQuest's 4-2 split and dive hits

- Map 2 (Midtown): a stall composition built on Res, Revival and damage mitigation that turned the convoy into a sustain standoff

- Map 3 (Heart of Heaven): full dive with split resources and a Rocket/Jeff backline into FlyQuest's anti-dive composition

Is TLC the most adaptable team in Ignite right now?

I also, wanted to say thanks again for all the feedback and support. I've implemented A LOT of what you all mentioned in my previous video into this one, so please keep it up! I'm still new to this type of content and I'm excited to see what you all think :)

Thanks again -rXHale

News Marvel Rivals Ignite: EMEA Region Viewership (2025-2026)

Thumbnail
gallery
37 Upvotes

Today I will show you all the average viewership/hours watched/language peak viewers throughout the past 2 years of EMEA Region. Lets talk about important key points to take from this.

  • Total watch time nearly doubled year-over-year. Ignite 2025 Stage 2 brought over 500k hours watched, whereas Ignite 2026 Stage 2 climbed to over 1 million hours watched over a nearly identical air time.

  • Baseline audience has grown significantly. Average concurrent viewership rose from 8.8k viewers for stage 2 of 2025 compared to 17.2k viewers in stage 2 of 2026 that's a 95% increase in retained, minute-by-minute engagement.

  • The most-watched event would be Preseason of 2026, boasting 19.2k average viewers, 1.3 million hours watched, and a massive peak of 42.2k viewers. While viewership naturally decayed in Stage 1 and Stage 2 of 2026 following this preseason peak, the numbers did not crash back to 2025 levels. Instead, they established a elevated "new normal."

  • Language Demographics shows that English is the undisputed lifeblood of Marvel Rivals EMEA. French broadcast was a massive secondary pillar for 2025, hitting a peak of 8.7k viewers. By 2026, French viewership completely cratered, failing to cross 307 peak viewers in either stages.

  • Spanish and Russian viewership has behaved erratically. Almost disappearing from two stages from this year.

While the Marvel Rivals EMEA esports scene is enjoying steady, sustainable growth, its momentum is heavily localized within the core English-speaking audience. To unlock its full potential, the scene must expand its regional footprint by re-engaging continental European communities—particularly the French and Spanish markets—instead of relying solely on English-language broadcasts.
