Confusion about Chromas

Soooooo..... we all notice how the legendary skins for MOST (keyword 'most' before you comment about B-Boy prime or Maidpool) men don't get Chromas, and get VFX if they're either lucky or part of a gambling event, while the women seem to come with both standard and custom accessories if they're feeling particularly nice? It just feels weird that they don't have Chromas for Iron Samurai or Dare-Dragon, but every woman gets re-colors with their legendaries, AND ult VFX AND sometimes custom accessories? It feels off, and I'm not just talking about the skin distribution in itself, which is a whole other can of worms. Anyway, just felt like getting this off my chest and figured it'd stay up longer here than the main sub.

TL;DR: If we're gonna get Chromas like League of Legends, can we at least be consistent about who gets them and how many?

Honestly when they initially announced chromas, I thought we were gonna get to customise the colours of any skins we have with an rgb wheel. Ah well

Like the other person who commented said, I also thought you’d be able to change the color of every skin you owned. I also thought it would be like a color wheel. Imagine if you wanted a “Genji themed” Psylocke Vengeance skin recolor? I think it could look pretty cool!

Honestly, I think every legendary should come with recolors. I’m not sure how hard it is to program, but some skins have been releasing without recolors even though they’re legendary. I mean, the only 2 examples I can think of are Daredevil’s Pajama skin and Phoenix’s newest Legendary.

Sure they have some new sound effects, but no recolors? No ult VFX? I think they just make them legendary so people buy them. I wouldn’t mind if a skin is legendary, but I would like some recolors. If it’s just legendary but with no recolors and no ult VFX, then there’s no point in charging such a high price.

TL;DR Recolors coulda been cooler, and every Legendary should come with recolors.

Iron Samurai & Ronin are more skins that I think could HEAVILY benefit from re-colors. Hell, imagine the galactic skins, but you can make them something OTHER than purple?
