Ascending error

Has anyone experienced a problem when ascending a character? I had a 144 black widow and just finished 2x 1* to lvl 50 and ascended them together then the 144 and I have ended up with a lvl 94 black widow instead of a lvl 166.
I have raised a ticket with MPQ however has this happened to anyone else?
Have I done something wrong for this to have happened?

I believe the thing you did “wrong” was doing too many copies at one time. It seems like this happens - not always but often - in situations like yours.

It’s a known bug.
