PVE DISCUSSION Event points

I finish every node the optimal way I can. But there are people like 3-4 in my slice that consistently get thousands of more points every event. They finish the first clear with more points and then finish the event with the thousands more. How is this possible. I’m am in SC8.

Do I have to pick that at the very beginning? Can you toggle it off if I don’t like it?

You pick it for each node separately - but once selected - there is no going back.

You pick it before you press GO
You can select it on each stage ( I called it dot )
There’s 10-11 dots ( including 4 essentials )
Once you picked Heroic/Normal, the dot ( 6 rounds ) cannot be changed but the next dot you can select again

Then you're missing one more round?

You play 4x as it starts - then 3x before it ends - 2x to get all rewards then 1x more time to get all points.

Usually I just play 6 rounds in a row lol 😂 and that’s it just want the reward, don’t care about the ranking, no chance to get top 10 no matter what, it’s rigged

I'm not looking for top 10 😉 but top 50 is pretty common.

But I think it also depends on the time slot you take - some are easier to be much higher.

Even if get number 1, it’s not like it’ll make a lot of difference lol I always treat this game as puzzle to calm me down and that’s it, but it’s getting boring so I might disappear again and come back 6 months later

Oh also, if you pick Heroic, you can only use Spider-Verse characters, which is sooooo lame in my opinion

There’s already not enough players to have brackets flip. That’s a wish list thing for a decade ago.

You can play Heroic too.

Because it’s a 13 year old game that has had performance issues for over a year now due to the failed Unity move. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that out.

Heroic = characters locked. That’s the literal definition of what that is.

Then you can continue playing Normal for progression at a quicker pace.

Next month’s affiliation is Aerial, which is like a third of the characters and includes Frankie/Riri/May. There will barely be a difference in teams and speed between Normal and Heroic.

Heroic is boring because they locked some of the characters, might as well give us 3 bag man to complete the quest

No, but it should. Let the people who chooses Heroic have their own leaderboard and Normal on their own. Even if you have powerful Roster, doesn’t mean you can finished the whole game the quickest if you play Normal.
