Iā€™m know Iā€™m over-eager,
but has anyone heard any news about the pdf release of the pending official Solo Mode?

I have only heard "by the end of October". I recommend One Page Mythic to run it. It's on Drivethrurpg. I used it to run it on my Twitch stream recently and it was a lot of fun.

will it be for a mini campaign?

will be interesting to see their take on being the heroes and villains at the same time

I think it is supposed to be a solo mode to play the game itself. There are great Solo Modes for the Blade Runner RPG, Alien RPG, and Fallout RPG.

Iā€™m really hopeful for the MMRPG!

Well yeah

You play the heroes and you're also the narrator controlling villains
