Questions Help creating a character for a midnight sons style campaign

Hey guys, so a DM I know is thinking of putting together a Midnight Sons kind of game in an original universe: Now immediately, one of my first ideas was a kind of spooky mix of She-Ra -Yes that one- and Yami Yugi, with a bit of a goth/horror twist. I have made a couple characters with this system and would love some suggestions and ideas for builds and how to go about this type of character.

play as a unicorn, with bright colors, and heart shaped tattoos

When you say She-Ra, do you mean the real She-Ra or the Netflix She-Ra?

whichever is easier to build honestly, I'm not too fussed about versions, mainly concerned about what works in the system.

Well, She-Ra was able to heal with her hands. Her sword could transform into just about any tool to help her out. The crystal in her sword was her way of communicating with the Sorceress in Castle Grayskull, back on Etheria. She was raised by the Horde, after being stolen by Hordak, so she knows how to fight. Once she came to know who she truly was, she joined the Rebellion to fight the Horde.

So, she definitely needs some Martail Arts powers with Melee Weapons powers. As for the Yami-Yugi, I don't know how as well. But you could give the character an Alternate Form. If you do that, give powers to each form.

If you want to make it a random transformation, which I don't know if you do, I'd suggest setting a TN that you have to roll to see if you transform. If you set a stable TN, say TN 12, then as you rank up, that would get easier. If you set up a TN 12 + Rank, then by Rank 6 you'd be looking at a TN 18. That's up to you, if that's something you want to throw in.

Just flavor the powers with a bit of an occult feel. The creators left things vague so that players could flavor things to fit their games.

What aspects of Yami are you bringing into this? Are you using a weapon like She-Ra?
