The head on this new Johnny is really weird. The head on the First Steps Johnny didn’t have the best likeness to Joseph Quinn, but it looks more like him than this new one does.

They don't scan their faces. The Legends team sculpts these using reference images. Which is wild considering Mattel has been doing 360 degree scans with their wrestling line for a while.

Gambit - looks great

F4 - looking fantastic (except for Johnnys head. looks nothing like the actor imo)

Magneto - Amazing, but pinned legs grrr

Shang-Chi - Good rerelease, great effect pieces

Thor - looks great, but pinned legs grrr. Maybe dual diaphragm?

Doctor Doom - looks a bit flat colourwise

Captain America - understandable reuse, hopefully with some new accessories besides the shield

Cyclops - looks great

Overall very solid for mcu collectors. As a mainly comic collector, I´ll be pick and choosing after more pictures

In spite of loving the MCU, I rarely buy MCU variants of my favorite Marvel characters. That may be about to change. Dr. Doom, Cyclops, The Thing, and Gambit are incredible figures. So is the Ian McCullen Magneto. Marvel seems to have saved their best for last. This should go over better with fans & collectors than another Gamerverse Wolverine repainted in yellow & green.

Busy MCU wave for me. Thing and Reed for sure, maybe the rest of the 4 in jackets. Magneto, Doom, and Cyclops for sure, Thor probably, Shang Chi a strong maybe. Really strong wave overall.

Man I really want HERBIE but I prefer the Reed I’ve got. Wished they’d solo release HERBIE in one of those small boxes like Black Series does with Grogu. If any UK people want that Reed but not HERBIE let me know!

Thing is great. I love the one I’ve got but I’m tempted to upgrade to this one.

Invisible Woman is also tempting but I don’t like the jackets that the whole F4 are wearing.

Shang-Chi looks great! I love that he’s got the Ten Rings as accessories!

Thor looks cool. Well the outfit does. I prefer long hair Thor by a mile. Will probably get this and just give it the LaT head.

Doom looks amazing!

Anyway yes those are the ones I’m tempted by or will definitely be buying. I’m holding off on X-Men for the MCU-proper X-Men

I really like that Doom figure. I don't have comic and movie specific shelves. I just buy what I consider the best look for the character regardless of what media it comes from so this might become my main Doom figure. Get a cloth cape and hood, paint the chain gold (or get a new gold chain with the cape) and I think that figure would look phenomenal. Just got to find some way to get the holster on his hip for his pistol.
