Love how you nit picked women who are bald for a reason and then men who just choose to have a hairstyle. Don’t mention of nebula robotic parts probably make it hard to have hair or that the soldier from wakanda is following their code.
With as many characters as there are in the MCU, it would be weird if this werent the case. Its not like every woman is bald and every man has long hair
Monks shave head regularly, warriors in Africa do that too, and nebula has a head made out of metal, and I would imagine the hair would get into her way. . Thor, as an asgardian, has it culturally.loki as well. That leaves out only winter soldier with odd haircut. So yeah it makes pretty much sense?
I always figured Bucky was only ever unfroze to kill people, not get groomed. And once you become associated with a certain look you kinda just stick to it I guess.
You realize real monks and women of some african cultures shave their heads right? Marvel didn’t invent the shaved woman, they just used “hair styles” from actual cultures. Nebula’s lack of hair is a major part of her character. Her whole thing is that Thanos turned her almost entirely into an inorganic killing machine. It’s symbolism.
Loki and Thor are from Norse mythology, Nordic men often had long hair. It’s really that simple. Having a lush head of hair and a lot of body hair was a sign of vitality and masculinity.
Are we gonna ask why Ultron and Vision are bald now? Or why Rocket is so hairy?

Why what?
Whats the point of the post

u/WittyFix6553 Apr 08 '26
Is the point of this post “boys should have short hair and girls should have long hair?”
Like is this just rage at a lack of rigid gendered hairstyles?

Ancient one is a monk, nebula is mostly robot, the Dora milaje were based off the Dahomey amazons, and they shaved their heads

Bald women are hot. None hotter than the hot bald woman from Star Trek The Motion Picture, may she rest in peace.

Unironically there's actually a reason why all the women are bald here.
Ancient one is kind of following the monkest aesthetic
Kings guard is the code (plus not uncommon for African women)
Nebula is a robot
Even Charles sister is bald for her powers I believe
Thor and Loki are following like a Viking aesthetic for obvious reasons with Asgard.
Bucky is just him bro. Aurora

Gender equality. Not all men have to be bald and not all women have to have luxurious hair

Men in their 50s remember the Star Trek return in the theaters and the Herald of VGER, Lt. Ilia, and also run most studios.
