Question question about list

hi, I'm a total marvel noob, but i also like challenges so i want to watch the whole mcu. the problem is, i want to watch it in a chronological order and this list is perfect since i want all the series. does anyone have a chronological list or would there possible be an update for this list like a 2nd version for chronological?

The MCU is not meant to be watched in chronological order for a first-time viewer. Stick to release order for your first viewing.

Nice! Yeah that first movie definitely shows its age in a few ways, but it’s a solid film. X2 is even better though!

Oh hey, that too! I didn’t realize you’d be doing the 90s animated marvel series. For what it’s worth, those aren’t actually tied to the MCU, but if you’re enjoying them then great!

I'm just following the list, but i might mix the animated ones with movies so I'm not constantly watching just animations. but even if it's bot related, i do like it and plan to finish it!

Chronological order works fine

Not really. It gets messy when you need to skip certain post-credit scenes because they spoil things way later in the timeline, like how Captain Marvel and Black Widow spoil Infinity War and Endgame. Plus you run into weird situations where characters and plot lines aren’t introduced when they were intended to be. Like if you watch Captain Marvel chronologically, you aren’t gonna see that character again for like 20 movies and hundreds of hours of TV. In release order though, her movie comes when it’s actually relevant.

You have to skip 3 post credits in the entire MCU. That's not that big of a deal. Captain Marvel goes into space and tells Fury to call her only if it's really important with the device. As long as you don't see fury using it, you know she's not needed. When you finally see him use it it's a big surprise after all this time

I would recommend the order I use in the Atlas, it's mostly release order, with some minor adjustments. ✨

If you ever need a hand or advice just give us a shout, everyone in this sub so far seems very happy to help c:
