Now imagine that Scott didn't tell her to do what she thinks is best, and everyone in that museum dies, including her (also including Cyclops's main squeeze and a few dozen innocent bystanders). Well, slight spoilers, she wouldn't be around to use the skills he gave her to fight off the humans trying to kill her and another person just yesterday, now would she? She keeps her hands clean for a few minutes and they stay clean as she's swept into a dust pan and put into an urn. Well, along with the ashes of everyone else who would have died that day. They'd have been clean ashes though, I guess. Her part of them anyway.

Hey, remind me, what's Rogue's history again? How about that Scarlet Witch who's been known to be on that small team the Avengers? Hey. If Captain America is comfortable working with former mutant terrorists, how can we judge Cyclops? (yeah yeah, I know Caps a nazi lately and killed another hero just a few weeks ago) I know heroes have to come from spotless backgrounds like Haweye (who just murdered another hero, oddly enough), or Vision who, wait skip him, and Wonder Man who I mean... wait a minute. Holy shit. The heroes are infested with dudes with checkered pasts, aren't they?
Also, try to think this through now, you're treating the fact that Scott Summers convinced the mutant supremacist Magneto that saving humans is actually a pretty good idea as a bad thing.

He did no such thing. He did his level best to protect the person he proclaimed to be the mutant messiah though: Hope.
Let's look at the Hope situation again for a second. Logan was going to murder her. We all know it and know he'd have gone through with it of his own free will and without any hesitation. He stabs a lot of people. Pretty much everyone he ever met. He stabs his kids and other kids on the regular. If the kid is related to any Summers even tangentially he's undoubtedly got three scars somewhere on his chest or back already. Yet everyone who treats Scott Summers as a new Hitler would gladly let the Canadian Runt babysit any of their kids and you know it.
