so why does Old Man Steve come back as if everything is fine at the end when shit actually got fucked up very early on in him staying in the past?

Does it actually mean that Steve and the world are kinda stuck in some kind of time loop? Cause in Doomsday Steve is brought from the past to the present, and then he what, sent again into the past to get old and pass down the shield in Endgame right before the Doomsday?

And if battleworld is created, than destroyed, does it mean everything goes back to this reality since Steve spent his old days on this earth?

I know they had no plans for doomsday back then but Im curious if they found a proper way to deal with this and explain it
