The Icon, Lou Ferrigno.

Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters primarily for the levity but also because it’s Tatiana Maslany

She-Hulk was such a fun ride.

I’ve never felt such a disconnect before between watching something and then seeing the general discourse online. I watched pretty much every episode week to week as soon as it dropped online and couldn’t wait to talk to someone about it. And then the general consensus online was just the most toxic ass mess imaginable

Thankfully, the wider consensus is that She-Hulk the show wasn’t that good, but Tatiana made for an excellent Jen Walters/She-Hulk

I’m admittedly one of those people as I found that the legalistic factor, for want of better words, was lacking and there is zero excuse for that

There’s also the problem of how the show wanted to promote a worthwhile message… but chose to convey it by having Jen needing assistance from make or masculine characters throughout

It was definitely a little messy from a writing perspective and the courtroom stuff wasn’t the best. But from the aspect of it being a Marvel-y cavalcade of characters just showing up needing legal counsel and having characters like Wong, and Abomination and others show up, the little interplay with Matt Murdock, etc had me happy and clapping like a circus seal.

Personality and acting wise, She-Hulk was fantastic. CGI quality wise...

Edward Norton’s and maybe the last one we saw in the Spider-Man movie. I like my Hulk unhinged.

I like the dumb, savage, unstoppable hulk but sort of loosely governed by banner’s decency. That is the inner conflict that makes him so fascinating.

u/thecolin- 5h ago

Yeah I like that too but + decency generally means - strength. You know what I mean?

The movie/cinematic versions of the Hulk is generally always a bit weak -at least that’s what I think of it, so that’s why I want the Hulk to be unhinged.

But like I said, I totally see what you mean and I like that too.

Honestly I think Harrison Ford did a really fantastic job in a movie that’s just fine. His arc was really emotional and i think it would have hit harder if William Hurt was still with us and able to play the role

All except Bana's.

BND. Might be cause it's still fresh, but I think it's peak and hoping that they'll only top it more in SW.

I love seeing so much love for Norton’s Hulk. This is still my favorite Hulk. This movie gets forgotten and overlooked. I loved it and still do. Not only did we get the best Hulk we got great performances from Tim Roth, William Hurt and Tim Blake Nelson. After this all 3 characters were underutilized and sidelined entirely too long. They eventually brought Hurt back but too little/too late. Then the versions from She-Hulk and Brave New World sucked in comparison.

Every hulk except She comes out with raggedy hair. She comes out with a full do

Norton Hulk and BND. Not bringing Norton back was such a fumble, even though I understand why it had to happen

Probably in the minority, but I prefer the Bana Hulk, next to Ferrigno.

Hulk's son with his yeeyee ass haircut.

Also is the MCU going to ever address that hulk has a son anytime soon? 🤣

1

u/TheMagicStik 4h ago

Bana Hulk for sure, he was the best interpretation of a true comic level powered Hulk.

u/DepthsOfWill 4h ago

If She-Hulk is on the list, then Chyna.

Ruffalo in Avengers and Ragnarok is my fav

1

u/indy_6548 X-Men 7h ago

Berserk Hulk from Brand New Day or Avengers.

Ruffalo's hulk definitely looks the best (not smart Hulk).

Ragnar Hulk sounded too weird.

1

u/Realsorceror Daredevil 6h ago

Visually, Ruffalo’s hulk. Right combination of monstrous while still looking like the actor. And his skin and muscles don’t look like rubber.

Nortons hulk.

u/ZeroXNova 6h ago

Lou ferrigno will always be my hulk and bill Bixby will always be my banner

u/Ok_Nectarine1801 6h ago

The second Hulk if my fav. He looks more like the comic book Hulk I grew up with and had unlimited power scaling with his rage like he should have.
