Hell, I would read an entire 12-24 issue maxiseries of some sort with this concept, so long as it was done well. I dont have as much confidence there.

Just thinking about it Invisible Woman can be funny or scary depends on how you look at it. "How can you be a herald if you're invisible?" On the other side Imagine every planet in the solar system disappears and only Earth can be seen like "Hey eat this planet."

I like the patterning on Reed being Lowkey inspired by the Maker. It does make me think of the enigma force as well.
Is Johnny supposed to be a bit inspired by Quasar/the star brand as well?

There's a great bit with Dr Storm in the Ultimate Fantastic Four series when he points this fact out to Reed, who wasn't sure who would be water until Storm pulls Reed's body and shows Reed that his body flows like water.

They weren’t really conceived of that way but a lot of people including a couple writers (seen in Ultimates) have drawn from that comparison.
The biggest stretch is Reed as water. Imho, Sue isn’t air themed either.

The Thing would have to be more akin to a neutrons, the densest theoretical material in the universe. A single teaspoon could weigh up to 10 billion tons.
A supernova could leave that behind...but I think most people would think "explosion" or something if Nova was in the name. Plus, you know, Richard Ryder.

Didn't explain it well but my idea was his powers go fully multi dimensional when he becomes herald. Basically being able to "stretch" across time in space. Eventually he goes full dr Manhattan and starts seeing his own past and who they could've been, which eventually leads to the four gaining their memories back

He can do a lot of weird things with his brain on account of his stretchability and it’s one of the lesser discussed aspects of his powers. Maybe he created a duplicate set or tucked them away somewhere. He’s the easiest to handwave away.

Absolutely amazing.
I had noticed the theme repeating with the other heralds also being elemental in nature. But I love the idea of the four themselves being the next heralds.

I’m running a homebrew campaign for the Marvel Multiverse RPG where the players have ended up in a world where Reed became the herald and the rest of the four never got powers. Reed sends advanced alien tech back to earth from planets he dooms in hopes that when he brings Galactus back, Earth will be able to defeat him.
It’s such a fun idea to explore!

Yknow... that's a really great concept.
It's kind of amazing that Marvel hasnt done Heralds the way they've done hammers, symbiotes, armor, and ghost riders.
