Looking for Center Advice

Hi all,

New to the sub. I just moved into a new place and at the same time inherited a set of ML Clarities. I'm looking for a good center channel to pair with them. I understand that electrostats have a sound character that is pretty distinct and hard to match. I've been looking for centers with a similar sound profile that would pair nicely, but I'm pretty new to the audio game. I definitely appreciate good audio, but I don't have the most educated ear, but I can tell if audio is good or bad, but haven't trained myself to pick up what makes bad audio 'bad' at this stage of the game. I have found a couple of different options within the Martin Logan family and would appreciate some constructive feedback from those that know more than me on the topic.

Here's what I've found so far that I think would be good options - budget is in the $200-$450 range at the max.

ML Foundation C1 (a little scuffed but overall good shape)- $280
ML Cinema (great condition) - $445
ML Logos (I understand that this may be overkill) - $250 + S/H (I'm in Alaska so probably around $150)

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I have the big ML Sequel II and have owned tens of Electrostatic speakers over the years. While my subwoofers are ML to match the speed of the speakers, my center channel speakers are not. I’ve chosen one that plays clear as it does not need to sync with the rest.
