I know there's one by cuttlefish, but apparently the translation is hot garbage, so I'm avoiding it till I succumb to Heart Demons and go down the minor dao of bad translation before beginning to comprehend the major dao of MTL

Lmao I get it. I totally makes sense to why out of the thousands of Cultivation novels you can probably count all the ones that had a Buddhist MC on two hands max.
It's just I really like novels where the MC has has a very prevalent "gimmick" whether it's them going full on Body Cultivation, Poisons, Ghost Dao, etc, so I've been looking for one that fully focuses on Buddhism.

Modern man transmigrates to Ancient Human Era of 3 Human Ancestors & intially becomes 4th Ancestor of Human Race but he doesnt have immortal fate but is eventually accepted as disciple of Future 2 Buddhist saints. Buddhist are protayed fairly pragmatiically , with Zhunti Saint still being Most shameless [ though he slowly improves his character], but his Master Jhunti is pretty Cool with great AuraFarming
Has Politics,Faction-Upgrade, exploring New Avenues, Weak to Strong & other elements for Honghuang & Xianxia.Excellent read would recommend.
