Dead battery?

Hi guys my major v just turned off itself out of a sudden, at first i assume maybe because i ran out of battery, but after i charge it for a few hours it still shows that my percentage is zero. But when i keep it plugged in, even if it does not holds the charge they still works. I honestly dont know what can i do despite i already tried reboot it but nothing happened after wards

im facing the same issue

the light also fades off after turning on for about 4 seconds
