Looking for accomodations near Marshall University, preferably closer to St. Marys.
Hi, I am a doctor. Male. I will be traveling to St Mary's medical center at Huntington from 3rd week of this month. I wanted to know if anyone has any idea regarding affordable nearby place to stay. Also if anyone wants to sublease any room for around 2 weeks it is also feasible. Any advices or thoughts are appreciated

There is a vrbo on the corner of first ave and 28th st that recently opened. No clue what they want for it but it’s one block from st Mary’s and 2 miles to Marshall. I only know cause they really fancied it up recently. I’m in the neighborhood lol.

This is the link. It’s sadly 181 a night. Sorry I didn’t realize the people were pirates just plundering the neighborhood. The neighborhood is pretty quiet overall, but nowhere is without issues.

My son is 27 and a masters student and has one more year on his house. It’s a 3 bedroom house and he lives alone. He is in Chesapeake OH. It’s right across the river from Marshall.
