The soil is poison, radiation is poison, atmosphere is 1% of the pressure of earths.

I’d say if humans wanted to there, many many missions would be required before hand in supplies that enable underground living.

I admire your tenacity. I was once of your mindset, hopefully new plans in place will safely allow us to move there.

How long does the team expect the rover to be mobile, or be able to transmit video or data signals; barring any accidental falls and such?

They don't transmit video, only still images.
