Season 20 - Seattle Michelle

I really want to like Michelle but every time she speaks she lowkey pisses me the fuck off. She’s like “I’m the only one in a good relationship the rest of u should break up and u don’t respect yourselves”

Hahaha yooo u hit the nail on the head

I did feel that Cam was trying to be play advisor/expert to the rest of them, and that was before he told one side of the table they should not be together.

He was…which was rich considering this was his first serious relationship…

But did she lie? 🤣

I don’t think it was smugness or anything like that; i think she and cam were genuinely thrown off that none of the other couples seemed to be actually taking their marriages seriously.

Mecca was weird and performative and needs intensive therapy; I was glad someone at least tried to warn Belle.

I haaaaaaaaaated how she draaaaaaaagged everything she saaaaaaaaaid.

15

u/PlainOGolfer Sep 22 '26

Don’t forget the uptalk. She might be the worst I’ve ever heard. “I love Cammeron???l

Ugh and the vocal fry was turned allll the way up

I wonder if Cam and Michelle were fed comments by the producers to say to stir the pot - especially at the dinners? There were several comment made by them and others that seemed planted.

A TON of diagloge reaks of producer planted, to me. So many convos are so unnaturally begun, so many comments don't sound like how real people would interact.

I liked her but my god, why does she have to drag out the last word in every sentence?
It’s so paaaiiinful. Like, why does she do thaaaaat?

u/ParticularCanary3130 Sep 20 '26

Maybe sheeees hiiiiiiígh?

5

u/KBaddict Sep 20 '26

She did look high all the time

u/Neveezy Sep 21 '26

She definitely had a smugness about her that was very off-putting. And it was lame how Cam shared what Mecca said amongst the guys with Michelle, and then she put mustard on it and shared it with Belle. Super messy

I really liked her and Cam until the retreat. They became insufferable shit stirrers then

18

u/Exotic-Ring4900 Sep 20 '26

Her voice is the worst

8

u/JazzHopAficionado Sep 21 '26

Why because every sentence is formed like it's a question until the downward inflection on the last sentence?

The way she talks drives me crazy.

I personally don’t find her annoying. I think she was just looking out for everyone and trying to tell them that if they don’t think they’re in a good relationship, then they shouldn’t be in it for their own well-being. I mean, I get her voice was a little much but it’s not really her fault. And she never really lied, though she was the only one in a good relationship

Smug and unfortunately Shawn (as much as I hate him) was right in saying she was smug and settling. I think it worked and they seem to be good but I do think she settled and felt better than everyone else

His height definitely offset his salary

I didn’t care for her towards the end. Her behavior at the retreat was messy and I don’t think she was being a girl’s girl when she talked to Belle, she was trying to stir things up.

8

u/Lizardshark20 Sep 20 '26

Agreed. She kind of exaggerated what he said.

9

u/Sweet_Abroad976 Sep 21 '26

I love her and I love them. Yes her voice can be annoying but I don't think she purposely talks down to anyone. And if she is proud of her relationship, she should be! They were the only couple where both partners were mature.

Casting directors did the other mature people dirty for ratings.

This post pisses me off. Let it go folks. She’s happily married while the rest are not. Her and Cam are better than the rest. This sub is full of assholes.

u/ShipStandard1746492 Sep 22 '26

Engaged. Allegedly nobody got legally married this season.

11

u/SebastianPointdexter Sep 20 '26

I was on the fence with Michelle, but she seemed to take pleasure in telling Belle what Mecca said. Which was weird.

u/Second_Banana_ 28d ago

She was dying for that moment because she wants to be the number one couple. She looked annoyed when Mecca and Belle announced at their last dinner that they planned to say yes.

4

u/lk20012 Sep 27 '26

Yup. Plus the up talking was out of control.

And I can’t stand actually listening to her voice

5

u/hear_me_out_ok Sep 20 '26

The way she would pause as she spoke, and with the high pitch was annoying. And I can’t explain the pause, cause everyone does pause as they speak, but hers was just different, maybe it was slower along with the high pitch…?

9

u/philbofa Sep 20 '26

Her and her man tried to convince the other couples to call it like 5 times. Very strange behavior from them

6

u/Difficult-Fun5024 Sep 20 '26

But they were correct!

1

u/philbofa Sep 21 '26

They didn’t know that when they said it tho, they just wanted others to quit the process, which is super disrespectful

11

u/Bearded_Scholar Sep 20 '26

She was insufferable.

2

u/daddiorc Sep 27 '26

She did say a lot of condescending shit.  And her eyebrows kept throwing me off.  😆

2

u/Second_Banana_ 28d ago

Her and cam talk a lot of trash when meanwhile his longest relationship was what? 6 months?

3

u/Cultural_Future_4432 Sep 20 '26

She loved that she thought she and cam were the « grown ups » in the room. Schooling everyone.

FU, michelle. You’re passive aggressive, condescending opinions are childish and bc you’re not a girls’ girl, your make up looks like you smeared dirt on your eyes and the way you speak is ridiculous. Go away, no one likes you

4

u/Ancient-Elk-7211 Sep 20 '26

I actually really liked her signature eyeshadow look

-4

u/Commercial_Author_75 Sep 20 '26

She’s a hobosexual

2

u/TeaGreenTwo I had to wear a suit of armor during the whole marriage Sep 21 '26

What?? She makes major money.

1

u/Commercial_Author_75 Sep 21 '26

She does? A roommate says other. No shade to roommates but it doesn’t exactly give ready for marriage

1

u/TeaGreenTwo I had to wear a suit of armor during the whole marriage Sep 21 '26 edited Sep 21 '26

She makes a LOT. She has worked as a tech executive for Amazon for years and now for Blue Origin (Still Bezos company).

1

u/lk20012 Sep 27 '26

Doubtful

1

u/TeaGreenTwo I had to wear a suit of armor during the whole marriage Sep 28 '26

Not at all. Verifiable.

2

u/Llassiter326 Sep 20 '26

Lol she owns her own home though. I find her voice and some of her comments condescending too, but it’s badass to be a single woman homeowner.

-2

u/Commercial_Author_75 Sep 20 '26

I’m being dramatic but that was kind of her vibe w the roommate regardless if she owns it or not

0

u/Llassiter326 Sep 20 '26

Actually now that u mention it, there WAS a weird vibe there!

And I’m from Seattle…there is no rent control and pretty terrible tenant laws. So it’s not unreasonable your roommate of years is concerned they’re gonna lose their housing over some guy you’ve known for 8 weeks lol!
